Amber Alert Canceled for 13 Year Old California Girl

The State of California canceled the Amber Alert late Monday afternoon (07-12) after the suspect was detained in Altadena and the girl was located later in San Juan Capistrano. The girl is safe and the suspect is being questioned about the abduction at this time.

The State of California issued the Amber Alert Monday afternoon (07-12) after the girl apparently left her home in Rancho Santa Margarita on Wednesday (07-07) with the suspect. The girl and the suspect had explicit exchanges on social networking sites and the suspect has been known to associate with sex crimes registrants.

Cheyenne Bradford, a Black female, 13 years old, 5' 7", 105 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

The suspect is David Burton Egert, a White male 48 years old, 6 feet tall, 220 pounds with blond hair.

The suspect vehicle is a light blue 1994 Toyota T-100 pickup truck with California tag number 4X02600.
