Amber Alert Canceled for Two Year Old California Girl

The State of California canceled the Amber Alert late Saturday (08-13) after the bodies of the girl and the suspect were found in the suspect vehicle about 50 miles north of Sacramento in El Dorado County.

The State of California issued the Amber Alert Friday afternoon (08-12) after the girl was abducted Sunday (08-07). The suspect is the child's father and has partial custody but failed to return the child to her mother after having her for visitation over the weekend. The child is believed to be in danger but no reason for that fear has been made available.

Madeline Layla Samaan-Fay, a white female, 2 Years old, 2' tall and 28 pounds with brown hair and eyes.

The suspect is Mourad Samaan, a 49 year old white male, 5'6" tall, 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The suspect vehicle is a dark green 1999 Toyota 4-Runner with CA tag number 3XRM111.
