AMBER Alert Canceled for 14 Year Old Tennessee Boy

The State of Tennessee canceled the Amber Alert Saturday afternoon (08-15) after the boy was found safe in Bartlett. The suspect was also found. There is no information on whether the suspect was arrested at this time.

The State of Tennessee issued the Amber Alert on Saturday (08-15) after the boy went missing from his home in Memphis Friday night (08-14). The boy is believed to be with the suspect who is a registered violent sex offender.

Name Removed a 14 year old white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 128 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and blue basketball shorts.

The suspect is Mark Tyre, a white male. The sex offender registry states Tyre was convicted of aggravated sexual battery in 1991.


There is no suspect vehicle at this time.
