Dino Santos, 10 month old Hispanic male abducted in Compton CA, USA.

The Amber Alert was cancelled Sunday after a he was found safe in the Los Angeles suburb of Norwalk.

Ten-month-old Dino Santos was reported safe when the Los Angeles County sheriff's office said the infant and the car had been found. Still being sought is the person who stole the car in the suburb southeast of Los Angeles.

The boy's father said he had left the boy in the car with its engine running about 1:00 a.m. when he went back into a friend's house to get his wife and another child. He said that a few seconds later the car was gone.

The parents of Dino Santos left him inside the car with the engine on as they were getting ready to leave a friend's house about 1:40 a.m. Officials are searching for a burgundy, 1990 Honda Accord with a California license plate 4VXD575.

Officials said the car has tinted windows, a sunroof and a "Spiderman" sticker on the front.

Anyone with information was asked to call the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department at (310) 605-6500.
