Amber Alert Canceled for 5 Year Old Kansas Girl

Issued Wednesday September 15th, 11:50 AM CDT.

The Amber alert was canceled early Thursday after the girl was found safe in Wyoming. The suspect apparently committed suicide. There is no further information at this time.

Justin Chadd Shirk, WM, 29, 5 Foot 8 inches and 220 lbs, is believed to have abducted a 5 year old girl Stormy, WF, waist lenght brown hair, possibley enroute to Seaside Oregon.

The suspect was last seen driving a 1993 green jeep Cherokee, license VLU053 at 1924, SW 13th, Topeka KS, sometime during the evening or night of September 14th..
