Amber Alert Canceled for Illinois Boy

Illinois State Police canceled the Amber Alert on Monday afternoon after the boy was recovered safe and the suspect apprehended in Bloomington Illinois. No further information is available at this time.

Thomas A Thrasher, Jr., a white male juvenile. No further description is available at this time.

Police are looking for Thomas Thrasher, Sr., white male, 31 yrs., 6'1", 150 lbs. with blonde hair and hazel eyes

Police say Thomas Sr. is armed with a knife and threatening to do harm to himself and/or the child. Police also said they may be en route to Bloomington.

The suspect vehicle is a 1988 white Pontiac Sunfire with Illinois plates KAYK 899.
