Code Amber canceled this Alert Friday(06-25) based on a phone call from the Detective a the Bell Police Department. The girl contacted her family and is now safe at home. No further information is available at this time.
Code Amber issued this Missing Endangered Alert on Friday (06-25). The girl has been missing since Last Thursday (06-17) from Bell California. She was last seen walking home from Bell High school. Several days ago a man called her father and said the girl was in an apartment near Echo Park. The man said he got the phone number from a Missing Person flyer but the flyer had not been posted before the call was made. The father went to the apartment complex near the park several times but did not find the girl. No Amber Alert was issued in this case.
Monica Amber Valenzuela, an Hispanic female, 14 years old, 5' 3", with reddish brown hair and she wears braces.
There is no suspect at this time.
