The State of Utah canceled the Amber Alert Saturday afternoon (1-02) after the girl was found safe in Salt Lake City. Two suspects were taken into custody.
The State of Utah issued the Amber Alert Saturday afternoon (1-02) after the girl was abducted in West Valley City, just South of Salt Lake City. The suspect is believed to be heading to Mexico with the child.
Natalia Velazquez, an Hispanic female, 2 years old, 2' 5", 20 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a navy blue tank top with Curious George on it and navy blue shorts. She has large visible scar on chest
The suspect is Gabriel Velazquez, Natalia's non-custodial father. He is an Hispanic male, 5'5", 130 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweater with a green shirt underneath and black jeans. He has been known to use the aliases of Cesar Vasquez-Barron, Luis Fernandez and Christan DeJesus.
The suspect vehicle is a maroon 2001 Ford Focus with Utah license number B243DW.
