Amber Alert Canceled for 6 Year Old Texas Boy

The State of Texas canceled the Amber Alert Sunday (03-07) after the victim of the car jacking recanted his statement that the boy was asleep in the car. The child was not in the car. The victim said he thought his car would be recovered quicker if he said the child was taken.

The State of Texas issued the Amber Alert Sunday morning (03-07) after the was abducted during a car jacking in Southwest Houston. Both suspects are armed and considered dangerous.

Kevin Williams, a Black male, 6 years old black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black sweat suit.

There are two suspects, both are Hispanic males. One is described as approximately 5' 5" and 170 pounds and armed with a shotgun. There is no description of the second suspect who is armed with a handgun.

The suspect vehicle is a 2000 Red Lincoln Navigator with Texas tag number NFK961.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Houston Police Department at 713-308-3600 or dial 911.
